On this project, I had the honour to work with an Antique Tapestry which in its previous life was used as a French canapé, decorated with medallion and Flowers.

My first thought was, let’s bring this vision to life. Tapestry would be sewn together as one complete piece; no pattern match possible and make a shaped Valance with cord flange on Bottom edge. Curtains would be made from Pure Natural Linen. The link would be Cord Flange on bottom edge of Valance and Tiebacks.
Installation was in Two phased visits. Phase one we removed existing Curtain Pole. We used special poly filler to fill old fittings, sanded then touched up with Customers own Paint. Next step was to install Wooden Plinth with Curtain Track and then place Valance around Wooden Plinth. Phase Two, we installed Pencil Pleat Curtains. Pencil Pleat Curtains were made to Puddle on Floor and final phase was to install Tieback Hooks with custom made wooden plinths and then dress Curtains with Tiebacks.
