Patio Doors that are wide can often feel difficult to dress. On this project we had no recess area. No problem, I have an idea that will work.

Looking at the above “Before” photo on left hand side. I had forgotten the demands of this project. My idea, we had an inspiring hardwood mantle over Fireplace in room and I wanted to replicate this style with straight Pelmet, piped on bottom edge. Patio Door measured over 3 metres wide with drop from floor to ceiling 2.5 metres.
Installation Day, we have a sequin to follow. We attached Wooden Plinth to ceiling, then custom cut track on Wooden Plinth. Now it was time to hang Curtains, then put 3-metre-wide Pelmet in place. Final touches was Tiebacks, Tieback Hooks, and dress Pencil Pleat Curtains.
