Just typing Apex Curtains sends a shiver down my spine. I met a lovely couple in October 2020, in the middle of a move to their new forever home. It was not until March 2021 my customer remade contact with me. An exceptionally long story and keeping to the original mood boards. My main brief from my customer, no sunlight. Just like that we started the design journey.

Making these Two sets of Apex Curtains is another story. Trust me. The problem with Apex Curtains is they are a lot of work. So many secrets in the fabric for these beautiful Curtains, endless patterns and then test samples. Building a frame for the Apex to fix to and having the heart to keep the faith with quality and fine detail. This design journey was my complete vision.
How did you find inspiration? Apex Curtains for me give a sense of medieval, so my head said Goblet Heading as this style links to this era. As both Apex Curtains are in Bedrooms, I wanted a sweetheart drape with puddling, and Robin Hood / Maid Marion feel which pointed back to the Architectural shape of the Apex. Yes, I know it sounds silly, but this was my instant feeling, and I could not see past what my mind and eyes could see when I entered these enchanting rooms.
Installation was in Four Key Stages which was allot of work. We had one long day installing the Apex Frames in place. Each stage of Installation very labour intensive, and many would not entertain this type of work, but we dragged it over the line and completed this mighty install and I have to say, I love it.
Helena and her husband made us 2 amazing curtains. Our windows were far from easy to dress, but they did it and we are so happy with the results. Thank you so much, highly recommended.
