I have been so busy decorating and have just had new flooring fitted. Helena, I have lost my inspiration for my Hallway. Please could you help as I cannot decide what to do. Next to my front door there is a small window can you please help me. Home visit booked and I cannot wait to get started. Looking at the Hallway I instantly saw beautiful fine detailed wallpaper with modern oak doors and flooring. It was simple. Luxury. Idea Door Curtain and Cascade stack Roman Blind. Not fussy make the fabric do the talking.

The fabric we used was Prestigious Textiles Velour Teal. Velour is a particularly good imitation of velvet. When working this fabric, you must understand the limits, it cannot be pressed every make up step of this fabric has to be held in place with weights and then hand sewn. A labour of love I call it! The customer wanted to use a Cotton Satin Lining for the Door Curtain and Roman Blind. Door Curtain was 3″ Pencil Pleat and we supplied and fitted a child safe Roman Blind.
When we arrived for our Installation day, we helped the customer out as her son was meant to install her Curtain Pole for the Door Curtain we were hanging. We fitted this as a gesture of goodwill as it was nearly Christmas after all. Not an ideal situation but a life lesson learnt. Installation went well we were pleased with the Door Curtain and outside recess Roman Blind; these final touches instantly made the Hallway feel like a welcoming and friendly entrance and my customer was extremely happy.
